Ontario Canada in the Fall

Ontario Canada in the Fall

Ontario, Canada, is a great place to visit this fall. Being the second-largest province in Eastern Canada, it offers a large variety of attractions for tourists. From wine tasting to camping, there’s something in Ontario that will appeal to everyone. Here’s a list of a few of these attractions:

Niagara Falls

These great falls display nature’s real power and beauty. You can go through tunnels that take you up close to the falls.

You can also ride “The Maid of the Mist” boat ride along the falls.

Thousand Islands

Talk about Jack Sparrow! If you’re into marine fantasies, then you’ll definitely enjoy exploring Ontario’s Thousand Islands. Thousands of small islands are strewn generously along St. Lawrence River for many miles.

You can boat, fish, swim, and scuba dive between and on these islands.

Stratford Festival

The Stratford Festival holds prize-winning Shakespearean plays and other literary plays from that era. They also offer bed and breakfast.

Algonquin Provincial Park

For nature lovers, Algonquin Provincial Park is a 7,800-square mile provincial park filled with lakes and forests.

There are 1,000 miles of canoe trails and endless hiking trails.

You can either go camping under nature’s starry skies or stay at Arowhon Pines’ lakeshore resort.

Ontario’s Wine Route

Canada has two major wine regions, and one of them is located in Ontario. These are the Vineyards on the Niagara Peninsula.

The wine trail takes you through historic farms and communities. There are also various tasting rooms along the way.

Go camping and experience the beauty of nature under the autumn night’s starry skies at Algonquin Provincial Park. Then go explore a thousand mini-islands down St. Lawrence River. When you get tired, go see a five-star play with your friends at the Stratford Festival. The attractions of Ontario will never cease to amaze you.
